About Annunciation Austin:

Mission and Vision

It is Annunciation Austin’s mission to provide excellence in education enriched through Faith and Family.

Annunciation Austin recognizes that the role of Catholic education is to collaborate with families in raising emotionally secure, intellectually competent, and spiritually alert adults. Contemporary society places great demands on all of us at every level: spiritual, psychological, financial, and educational. We are committed to helping children find their way in this world and to do so with confidence and wisdom. Annunciation Austin works with families in fostering moral discernment, social responsibility, and, above all, a joyful service of God’s love.

Central to Annunciation Austin is our Catholic faith, shared among the families and the teachers. This faith undergirds every aspect of life as a learner in God’s great universe, including the education of children: the values, virtues, priorities, social teachings of the Church, and naturally ordered relationships. Coming day-by-day and step-by-step to a closer, richer, and fuller appreciation of the Creator, His creatures, and His creation and to a greater personal grasp of the moral, ethical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual capacities which we are called to develop, we live the lives and become the people whom God has created us to be. This is the essence and purpose of genuine education and our ultimate goal as Catholics.

Based on these objectives, Annunciation Austin aligns its teaching principles with these three foundational pillars of education:

  • Academic excellence,
  • Primacy of the parents, and
  • Fidelity to the Magisterium.
